The Campus Y is back in its beautifully renovated building. By giving a contribution of $100 or more, you have the opportunity to engrave your name or a message of up to three rows of 18 characters on a brick that will become part of the sidewalk surrounding the historic Y building. The first 200 engraved bricks have already been installed in the sidewalk cafe area and in the sidewalk leading up to and in front of the entrance (see example below).
 To donate a brick, click HERE. HERE You will be asked to select the wording of your choice (within the parameters of 3 rows of 18 characters each) and the payment method of your choosing - either online through Carolina First or with a check through regular mail.
Your personal message will become a piece of history and lasting gift as part of the UNC campus. For years to come, students and visitors alike will read the names of those who made it possible.
To Give Online
To submit payment for your brick go to the Carolina First Campaign’s donation page. You will be guided through the process on their website. To ensure that the donation reaches the Campus Y’s Brick Campaign, follow these steps:
- Select the type of online giving you would like use
- Under “Select a University Fund” choose DIVISION OF STUDENT AFFAIRS. For the specific fund choose OTHER and then type in Campus Y Brick Campaign (6232)
- Continue to follow the remaining steps on the Carolina First page
By Mail
To make a contribution by mail fill out the brick contribution form and send it in with a check for $100 per brick made out to “UNC Campus Y” to:
