Mission - HOPE PDF Print E-mail

The Homeless Outreach Poverty Eradication (HOPE) is a social activist, volunteer organization that encourages students to confront homelessness issues facing both the campus and the larger community.

HOPE adheres to the Campus Y's commitment to pursue social justice and cultivate pluralism through using education and activism to fight hunger and homelessness. This mission of restoring equality and alleviating human suffering must be pursued within a framework of cultural understanding and respect for individuality.

HOPE brings attention to the causes and conditions of homelessness through awareness campaigns. HOPE also provides immediate relief to the hungry and homeless through volunteer programs and clothing drives.

If you are interested in getting involved this year, email us with any comments, concerns or questions.
