The Campus Y Staff are professionals who devote their time to the efficient operation of Campus Y efforts, guidance and counseling for Y members and committees, training of officers and co-chairs in leadership skills and outreach to other units of UNC and the community. |

Richard graduated from UNC in 1991 with a BA in Political Science and a Juris Doctorate in 1998. He spent 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Hungary. In 1996 he co- founded Youth Services International based in Washington and Budapest. Richard joins the Campus-Y after spending the past year as the Director of Europe for the Public Interest Law Institute in Hungary. Richard lives in Durham with his wife and 4 year old daughter. He is excited about being the new Campus Y director and can’t wait to meet all of the Y members!

Lucy Lewis is a Chapel Hill native and a 1990 graduate of UNC's MPA program. She was formerly director of the Orange County Literacy Council; prior to that she was director of the Orange County Human Rights and Relations Department. She has a history of community and labor organizing. Lucy received her BS in public administration from Empire State College/ State University of New York. She lives in Carrboro, right around the corner from her daughter, son-in-law and new grandson.

Dianna Curtis is a military brat who has lived all over the world and has lived in Graham since 1991. She is a mother of 2 girls, ages 15 and 10. Dianna stays very busy with her daughter's school, sports and activities. She has a background in retail management, group home, real estate, and Legal administration. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, 3 dogs (2 Chocolate Labs, 1 Jack Russell) and watching her daughters’ play softball. |
The Y Advisory Board includes faculty, students from outside the Y and representatives of the community in Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Orange and Durham Counties. The Y Advisory Board gives support and advice to the student efforts and represents the Y with faculty and community organizations. Advisory Board members serve three-year terms, with a two-term limit.
