The Campus Y, the Center for Social Justice and Social Innovation at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is now accepting applications for new committees to join the Y for the 2016-2017 academic year.

The current 29 committees form the foundation for the Campus Y. The Y’s collective pursuit for social justice is promoted through the committees’ diverse views, objectives, and approaches in community engagement.

Applications can be accessed here and are due Friday, January 29th, 2016 at 11:59PM. Further details regarding the application, type of applicants, requirements, etc. can be found on the application page. We encourage any interested groups and organizations to apply!

The semester may be winding down, but Build the Hill is just getting started. The microfinance organization, formerly known as Carolina Microfinance Initiative, provides entrepreneurs in the local area with small, zero-interest loans to support their business. Build the Hill has rebranded itself and with a new website, structure, and a fresh vision for the future.
